Job Description
Having recently moved to a new premises in Ramsgate we are looking to take on a member of staff part-time to assist with the butchery side of the business, and to help us grow the business following lots of new interest and demand.
You must be an experienced butcher able to breakdown and bone-out pork quickly and efficiently in preparation for sausage making or curing as bacon. Experience of making sausages using traditional hand stuffing and tying techniques is a bonus but not essential for this role.
Initially we are looking for someone who is available 4-8 hours a week, but as the business expands there will be more work available. So if you are a recently retired butcher, or just someone looking for some extra work this position will suit you.
Provided you are available every week to assist with the butchery we can be flexible about the day and time that you work. You may be expected to come in and complete tasks on your own, so reliability is essential.
