Role Purpose:
Supporting the Wealth Structuring team in the Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) and International teams in the delivery of advice to UHNW clients. The role is based in London although some travel will be expected to visit clients in the regions, with Wealth Planners/Relationship Managers. This is a non-regulated role with the expectation that the successful candidate become regulated in due course.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist Wealth and International planners in building the Wealth Planning business proposition for the Ultra High Net Worth and International teams of the Private Bank
- Support the UHNW and International planners in providing services to clients in the Private Banks UHNW and international clients
- Engage with UHNW clients in conjunction with the Wealth and International planners in the delivery of advice to UHNW and International Clients
- Conduct in depth reviews to identify needs of clients to deliver a consistent and tailored service
- Deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication
- Prepare Powerpoint presentations
- Attend Client meetings with Wealth Advisers
- Take meeting notes and dealing with any follow up action points which may involve coordinating and writing reports and emails as well as liaising with professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers
- Coordinating with other team members in Wealth Planning as well as Relationship managers and investment counsellors
Key Skills & Experience:
- ATT qualified or Qualified Lawyer/Chartered Accountant
- CTA qualified or working towards
- Substantial Private Client experience
- Strong UK Resident/Domicile tax knowledge
- Using existing technical tax and legal knowledge acquired through professional qualifications and minimum two years’ Private client experience acquired in practice or similar institution
- Applicant will also need Estate planning, Business exit planning, pre arrival planning and pre location planning experience
