Support the Registered Nursing staff in providing assistance and personal care for patients within University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire Trust across both sites at University Hospital Coventry & Hospital of St Cross, Rugby.

You must be aged 16 or over and have previous Healthcare Assistant experience: HCA-Band 2-£22,383 + enhancements
Be a Resident in the UK/ EEA for the last three years
Must NOT be in any form of formal government-funded education.
As a band 2 HCA you must have previous experience of working within a care environment and already hold a level 2 health and social care related qualification or be willing to work towards this qualification.
Full and Part Time Posts available. The salary will be pro rata for part time staff.

The Recruitment Centre:
If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to attend a Recruitment Centre. This Recruitment Centre is intended to show you what it’s really like to be a healthcare assistant, and to provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate how you would provide excellent quality care to our patients and their families within a modern health care facility.
The Recruitment centre will involve a basic literacy test and if you are successful, you will go forward to an interview. If you are successful at interview, and there isn’t a current vacancy that meets your needs, we’ll keep in touch and update you as jobs arise. If we are unable to allocate you to your requirements your application will be withdrawn.
