Would you like to join the busy and highly skilled team of nurses in the Moorfields eye clinic and day care unit based at Ealing Hospital? We have an opportunity to recruit a dynamic Health Care Assistant Band 3 to work at our Ealing site.
PROBATIONARY PERIOD
This post will be subject to a probationary period of 12 weeks.
During the probationary period, your suitability for continued employment will be assessed and provided a satisfactory standard is achieved and maintained, your employment will be confirmed. The probationary period may be extended or your employment terminated either during or at the end of probation, in line with the trust Probationary Policy. For the duration of the probation period, the notice period will be in line with contractual obligations on either side.
You will carry out and assist with specific ophthalmic procedures and support the clinic and day care staff, working as part of a multi- disciplinary team.
You must be of reliable character, professional and demonstrate the ability to take instruction from your seniors. You will need to be flexible and will need to rotate within the department where you will be expected to assist the nursing staff. You will support both patients in clinic and the multi disciplinary team and be able to work independently with minimal support.

The post-holder will be responsible supporting the clinical team in providing quality care to our patients who present with a wide variety of ophthalmic conditions also maintaining a safe and clean environment.
