We have an exciting opportunity in the School of East Asian Studies for someone looking to use their skills in customer service to make an impact on and enhance the student experience.
As a Student Experience Assistant, you will be a key team player in the energetic School of East Asian Studies’ Learning and Teaching Team, at the forefront of delivering high quality student focused administrative support throughout the student lifecycle; from enrolment on programmes to releasing final results. A key aspect of this will be acting as first point of contact on all forms of enquiries coming into the School from prospective and current students
With 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications/experience), we are looking for candidates who will have a flexible and adaptable approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective networks and strong working relationships. You will have excellent IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular the use of Word and Excel, email and the internet. You will be well motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to problem solve and be an effective team player. Working closely with the School’s Student Experience Manager you will ensure the delivery of an excellent student experience across the School.
As this is a customer-facing role the expectation is that the working pattern reflects the need of the core business hours of the School.
