We're looking for the Utilities Site Manager to join our Utilities Team, on the UK Power Network sites which are works if a complex civils nature. You'll be managing work delivering projects ranging from £500k to £10m, such as cable, overhead line and substation infrastructure projects.
Location: Based within commutable distance to Essex, Cambridge, Luton, and North London
Contract: Permanent, full time – flexible and part time hours available if desired, just let us know
Salary: £45k - £55k + benefits
Responsibilities
As a Site Manager you will be joining our Kier Utilities team on UK Power Network sites, responsible for the management of the construction site to achieve required project delivery to the customers'
Your day to day will include:
- Supporting the Project Manager and enforcing high standards across the board on site(s) to maintain safe and effective delivery
- Placing safety at the heart of everything you do and checking all CPP, RAMS, SSoW and Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRAs) are fully understood
- Ensures that all work meets the additional UKPN-specific H&S requirements of HSS 01 058
Who are we looking for?
This role of Site Manager is great for you have:
- Operational and commercial awareness within the utilities environment
- Working knowledge of the NEC 3 Form of Contract, especially about Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events
- Proven experience in a similar Site based role
